No Individual should fail to secure adequate medical care because of the inability to pay for it

It is well known that resource distribution in the society is not equal, resulting in poverty in certain percentage of people. It is with this reality that The Canara Bank Relief and Welfare Society which was set up in 1961 by Canara Bank, started a medical centre in 1962, which later became a full-fledged Sevakshetra Hospital in 1977.

The Sevakshetra hospital was prompted by a genuine concern for those in need of access to health care facilities.
